Hauptbahnhof/ main Station

Welcome reception at the Leipzig Main Station

It is the central railway terminus in Leipzig and it is Europe’s largest railway station measured by floor area. It has 19 overground platforms housed in six iron train sheds, a multi-level concourse with towering stone arches, and a 298 metres (978 ft) long façade and also two Leipzig City Tunnel platforms were inaugurated in December 2013. The station is classified as a Category 1 station, one of twenty in Germany. It also functions as a large shopping and handled an average of 120,000 passengers per day. On the site of closed track No. 24, several historical Deutsche Reichsbahn locomotives are on display. Come on and join our welcoming reception and  atmosphere not only in the company of the “rolling elderlies” .

BSG CHEMIE

BSG Chemie Leipzig Stadium 

The Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark (AKS), heart and home of BSG Chemie Leipzig, is an extraordinary stadium. The huge north dam, which was built in 1966/67 from war wreckage, forms the foundation of the stadium’s largest grandstand. – 15,000 spectators could stand here! So two thirds of all seats are behind the goal and not along the sides as usual. The uppermost steps of the standing wall even almost tower above the roof of the historic wooden grandstand on the dam seat. EVRA Gala Evening at Felsenkeller Leipzig

The Felsenkeller offers with its breathtaking ballroom, its beautiful beer garden a very special cultural mix of concerts, readings and dance events, theatre productions, variety shows, markets and balls. Today, international oval ball artists are the audiences of the large ballroom in neo-baroque style, it is undoubtedly the jewel of the rock cellar.
